Overview
Data in the Ranch Operations Manager is organized into tables. For example, the size of each herd is recorded in the Herd - Size table. All data that is collected in the Ranch Operation Manager can be found in the tables found in the Ranch Table Manager.
The mobile app is the primary way that you will collect data in the field. You will use the mobile app to add records to one of the tables. For example, when you move a herd from one paddock to another paddock, you would record that herd move using the mobile app. This will create a row (a record) in the Herd - Chronology table that records this movement of the herd.
Important: Data Collector Responsibility
While we've invested significant effort into building strong validation checks to catch errors during data entry, no system is perfect. Data collectors remain responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their records through careful, diligent work.
