Welcome to the Ranch Operations Manager. This application was created as part of the living lab project led by the Food and Water Wellness Foundation (FWWF) in partnership with the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA). This application was developed by the Integral Ecology Group using the ALCES platform.

The Ranch Operations Manager is a data collection and visualization application for graziers in western Canada. Graziers can set up their ranch in the tool, and share data collection and visualization access with their team. Data collection, such as recording herd moves and updating herd sizes, can be recorded in the field using the mobile app. The mobile app synchronizes with the website whenever an internet connection is available, so data can be collected in the field without a cellular signal.

The Ranch Operations Manager website is where you'll set up and manage your ranch operations. This is where you'll create your grazing seasons, control who has access to your ranch data, and import any historical records you want to include. The website is also where you'll view summaries and visualizations of your collected data, including calculations and insights based on the information you've gathered in the field. You can review and correct any errors in your data here as well. While you'll collect data day-to-day using the mobile app, the website is your command center for configuration, data management, and analysis.
